Andrey Arshavin – We look like jockies

Arsenal’s new away kit to mark the 125th anniversary of the club has come under criticism from the dynamic midfielder and prankster.  Speaking on his Q&A section of his website, Andrey had this to say:

‘Our guest uniform next season will look like jockey’s clothes.’

One big absentee from the photo-shoot for the new kit.. one Cesc Fabregas, further fueling rumors about his impending departure away from the London club.

Andrey, despite looking like a jockey (and we aren’t just talking about the away kit!) will be looking to prove some of his critics wrong, who during the 2010/2011 campaign believed his heart was not in his role at Arsenal.   He can’t score FOUUURRR every week now can he.  I for one would like to see him leading the line (sorry – no more racing puns now) alongside Van Persie, and less of a wide midfielder.

Either way, i’m sure Andrey will be looking to help Arsenal be first past the post in the coming season.
