Milan in Drogba approach

Reports in Italy suggest that AC Milan have made a formal enquiry over the possible transfer of Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. Milan look set to lose Antonio Cassano to Fiorentina this summer and are keen to land the Ivorian star as a replacement. With the arrival of £50 million man Fernando Torres and the change of manager at Stamford Bridge, Drogba’s future at Chelsea has become unclear, with the Rossoneri hoping to tempt the 33-year-old with regular first team football. However, Milan are understood to be among four clubs to have expressed an interest in Drogba this summer.

The arrival of Torres at Chelsea could limit Drogba's first-team appearances
