Even the USA star could not stop the Europe exit.

Such a cruel game. Fulham suffer last second heartbreak, and would Tevez really go to Spurs?

Fulham had their European dreams dashed tonight by pretty much the last kick of the ball in their game with Odense.

In truth Fulham had the best of the first half, they looked like they could open up the opposition with such ease.  Goals from Dempsey and Frei looked to be the two feet into the next phase.  However Odense didn’t read the script, they pulled a goal back in the 64th minute.  Fulham had turned down the heat in the second half, they looked half the team that showed up for the first 45 minutes.

Even the USA star could not stop the Europe exit.

The final move of the match was down to Fulham losing the ball, with only seconds to go they lost possession when playing the ball into the corner looked to be the safest option, Odenese broke away and after the ball was crossed into the box from Rudd for the lively Djiby Fall to head home from point blank range.

The results elsewhere actually sealed Fulham’s fate, and they found themselves dumped out of the Europa league in an unspectacular fashion.

In other cruel news, would Spurs be right to make a bid for Tevez? Surely they have seen the trouble he caused at United and City, he doesn’t appear to want to play in England, he has made this clear on multiple occasions and maybe Harry thinks he can change him? My bet would be that these are all just rumours, I would not put money on it!

Other rumours today suggest that Chelsea might be willing to sell Torres for £20m. I very much doubt they would take that much of a hit on the £50m they paid, I mean, they don’t change strikers as often as managers now surely?

What a crazy world we live in.
