Fantasy Premier League tips – Gameweek 11

Theo’s in fine form and just loves to score against Spurs – image from

They’ve not exactly been having the best time of it lately, but you’ve got to take a look at Arsenal this week. Home to Fulham, surely they’re on for a few points this fantasy football gameweek. Looking ahead to the next couple of gameweeks, we’d also be looking to back Newcastle and Everton.

While Arsenal have far from been firing on all cylinders during the current Premier League campaign, Santi Cazorla (£9.4m) has been racking up the points. Theo Walcott (£8.7m) has also looked pretty impressive of late and we’d certainly back him to find the net against Spurs in Gameweek 12 – he always does! Jack Wilshere (£6.4m) is, of course, suspended, but he could well be worth looking at ahead of his return next week.

Hatem Ben Arfa (£7.9m) was one we were considering dropping, but with Newcastle facing back-to-back home fixtures against West Ham and Swansea, we’d think it’ll be best to hold on to him for a little while longer. It might be a little late to be getting on the Demba Ba (£8.3m) bandwagon, but come on! We’ve been recommending him for weeks!

In fourth place, Everton are flying and you’d be wise to get on a few of David Moyes’ players with a home game against Sunderland and a trip to the Madejski for the Toffees to come. We’re not in the habit of backing defenders this season, but if you are going to fork out, it might as well be for Leighton Baines (£7.6m), who has looked very impressive this season. You’d also be doing it wrong if you didn’t have Marouane Fellani (£7.3m), while it’s also worth noting that Steven Pienaar (£6.9m) is back. Nikica Jelavić (£8.5m) would also be a fine choice, should you have the budget.

Others worth considering

We quite like the look of Peter Odemwingie (£6.9m) this week, while over at Swansea, if Miguel Michu doesn’t score, Pablo Hernández (£6.1m) will.

You’d be daft to be betting against Manchester United at the minute. So get on anyone over at Old Trafford, namely Robin Van Persie (£13.6m) and, of course, Wayne Rooney (£11.8m), who just loves to score against Villa.

Best of luck
